The space
Think less boutique, more Mode apartment. Ten fitting rooms, vintage-sourced lighting, a sofa we found in the East Village, and a mirror that felt too good to leave behind. Mia's shoe wall anchors the back of the store, an ode to the vintage pairs she's been collecting for years. Every detail was chosen like it was going on the walls of somewhere you'd actually want to stay.
The opening
We celebrated with the people who make Mode feel like Mode. A house pizza party, 818 Tequila on the table, and a room full of the right faces. No fuss, just a good night in a space we're proud of.
